2026 LAN EVENT: Participation Guidelines & Terms
I. Digital Ethics and Network Security
To protect our infrastructure and ensure a fair experience for everyone:
- Zero-Tolerance Policy: Any attempt at network sabotage, DDoS attacks, unauthorized scanning, or malware propagation is strictly prohibited.
- Infrastructure Safety: Seats are provisioned for one PC/Console and one display only. Connecting high-draw appliances like heaters, kettles, or coffee makers is banned to prevent power failures.
- Consequences: Severe technical infractions will result in an immediate and permanent ban from the network without a refund.
II. On-Site Identification
- Access Credentials: Your event badge is your only valid ID. It is non-transferable and belongs exclusively to the registered attendee.
- Display: For the safety of the community, badges must be kept visible at all times within the venue.
- Misuse: Lending or forged credentials will lead to the immediate revocation of access rights.
III. Facility Schedule and Age Restrictions
The venue is a 24-hour operational space, but specific rules apply based on age:
- Minors (14-16): Must be under the constant supervision of a legal guardian or authorized adult.
- Young Adults (Under 18): To comply with local safety regulations, a venue curfew is in effect from 23:00 to 08:00.
- Zoning: Respect the boundaries between General Public areas and the Private Participant zones.
IV. Community Standards & Atmosphere
We aim to foster a collaborative and welcoming environment:
- Professionalism: Harassment, verbal abuse, or any form of discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated.
- Noise Control: To maintain a focused environment, the use of headphones is mandatory. External audio systems or speakers are not allowed.
- Hygiene: Please keep your station tidy. Use the provided sorting bins for recyclables to help us keep the event sustainable.
V. Health and Safety Regulations
- Restricted Zones: The interior of the building (including halls and restrooms) is a smoke-free and vape-free environment. Please use the designated outdoor smoking areas.
- Prohibited Substances: Bringing alcohol or any illegal substances into the facility is strictly forbidden. Any participant found in possession will be escorted out immediately.
VI. Content Responsibility
The data hosted on your hardware is your legal responsibility. The public display or distribution of adult (pornographic) content or material that infringes on Intellectual Property rights is strictly prohibited.
VII. Disciplinary Framework
The administration reserves the right to penalize violations based on their impact:
- Direct Warning: For minor issues regarding noise or cleanliness.
- Service Suspension: Temporary disconnection from the local network.
- Permanent Removal: For theft, physical altercations, or critical network breaches.
VIII. Property and Liability
- Personal Gear: You are responsible for the security of your own equipment. We strongly advise against leaving high-value items unattended.
- Claims: The organization is not financially liable for any loss or damage to personal property.
- Storage: Items found by our team will be held for 30 days.
Final Provision: Management retains the right of admission to protect the integrity and safety of all participants.
